A tropical twist on a popular classic. This healthy treat can be eaten for breakfast, dessert or as a snack anytime of the day.

  • 4 cups flour
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • tbsp baking powder
  • ½ lb butter chilled & cubed
  • 1 cup guava puree
  • cups milk


  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • ¼ cup guava puree
  • ¾ cup water


  • Preheat oven to 350°F
  • Add dry ingredients together: sift flour, mix with baking powder, salt and sugar
  • Add milk and guava puree, mix well until smooth
  • Mix in chilled and cubed butter
  • Scoop onto baking sheet with spoon -about12 scones
  • Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown
  • Cool to room temperature, glaze tops and enjoy!
